Karl's mishap in Lima:

Earlier this year while in Peru shooting five different assignments, Karl was robbed of all his photography gear. In a bus station in La Victoria, a dangerous section of Lima, Karl lost thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Although unhurt in the incident, Karl lost valuable time and considerable expenses. He had to return home, deal with his insurance company, and purchase new cameras.

"All my clients were so understanding and supportive....once I was back on my feet everybody rebooked time with me and we accomplished every photo-op we had planned on ", said Karl. "Sure, it was a major setback but nothing that couldn't be overcome. I guess it was bound to happen eventually. Somebody in Lima now has some really nice cameras. l hope they put them to good use !"
