Mekong Delta

Every time I’m leading this trip, and we get to the Mekong Delta, we take a small boat down the narrow canals near the floating market in Can Tho..and as we are cruising the canals, with the motor chugging along, I get these visions of Francis Ford Coppola’s epic film, Apocalypse Now. You know, it’s the scene where they are on the patrol boat heading down the river…..
