T his is the ninth time that I’ve photographed the Pushkar Camel Fair, and it never, ever disappoints. Yes in deed, the Pushkar Fair is a very popular destination for photographers, but if you think it’s been over-done, or over-run by camera toting tourists, think again. Pushkar is still one of my favorite venues for photography. Each and every time I come here, I find something new and interesting. Here are just a few of the images I made during our 2 hour orientation walk / photo shoot on our arrival day! I’ll post some images from our morning “camp fire” shoot tomorrow.

The dusk or early evening photograph has a wonderful aura about it. The ferris wheels and the camels make us wonder where in the world are we. Karl, you introduced me on a tour to Puskar. Now, i just want to go back and spend time there. That will be one more photographer walking around the fare grounds.
