Fire Scripps Ranch Sunday October 26, San Diego, CA
Today began with an overwhelming
sense of foreboding, as I headed east on Scripps Poway Parkway in the direction
of a huge plume of smoke looming overhead. The day progressed rapidly into
a chaotic series of unbelievable events that seemed to be turning more tragic
with each passing hour, it ended for me, after exhausting 4 camera batteries
and all my available memory cards. Actually, the story of the Scripps Ranch
fire had only just begun....
