Yesterday we spent 6 hours on the Mekong, traveling from Saigon to CanTho, the busiest warf in the Mekong Delta.
In the evening we shot the market which was chock-full of fruits, vegetables and fish vendors selling their products. The atmosphere here is quite less frenetic than Saigon, and we are all struck by the kind, welcoming, and friendly demeanor of the people.
This morning we woke early and traveled by boat to the amazing floating market of Cai Rang, which is about 30 minutes up river from our hotel
We made several passes through the throngs of boats and vendors, each busily buying, selling or transferring all sorts of products.
Later we slipped down some small canals, ending up in a small village to witness rice paper being produced.
