Amazing Myanmar Photo Tour Day 4

On the road in Mandalay, photo opportunities everywhere!

Today after breakfast in the hotel we set out to photograph at a local market on the way to Minguin jetty. Along the way we spotted a group of young nuns walking along the street in a procession. We immediately stopped the bus, got out, and started photographing this unique and interesting sight.

 

The young nuns dressed in pink robes were carrying alms which they were collecting from the local shopkeepers and families in the community. After photographing the procession of nuns we proceeded to a small local market to photograph some of the morning’s activity. There was a small shop where people were drinking tea as well as  Fruit sellers meat sellers
