This year’s Vietnam photo tour is just getting started. I’ve got a full trip (10 photographers) and we set out onto the streets of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) today. Here are a few images. I found myself doing quite a bit of panning today. I guess I was trying to capture the frenetic activity and “motion” of this amazing city. It’s all hustle, bustle and action. I believe that portraying “motion” by panning helps to convey that feeling.

My friend, your becoming a Master at panning!
I love how so many of your photos convey movement so convincingly.

Ditto about being a Master Panner! Love these shots…

As always Super impressed by the simplicity yet compelling
thoroughness of your images instead of a snapshot they all have
a complete story to tell looks simple but that is why you
are the PRO and we the students I really enjoy this web site or
blog keep up the great work!!

Dear Don and Robbie,
It’s so nice to hear from both of you. Thanks for taking the time to view the blog and comment. I’ll always remember the trip here with Anietra and Robbie, it was wonderful to see a mother and daughter have the chance to experience this trip together, I am sure it was a bonding experience which will provide a lifetime of happy memories. The Hampers are great travelers, and travel companions, perhaps some day we can get Don along on one of these adventures…it’s always fantastic to travel with you guys!
Take care one and all.
Karl
