We arrived in Haridwar by train yesterday and did an afternoon train station shoot, followed by Aarti (the evening ceremony on the Ganges) and a night shoot along the narrow winding back-streets. This morning we did a 7:00 AM photo walk from our hotel, which is perfectly situated near all the action. For whatever reason, I desaturated one image, then another, and soon, half a dozen. I thought to myself, what the heck, why not do a whole blog-post in monochrome. It’s a departure from normal, but perhaps it’s a  good idea to “mix thing up” occasionally. Enjoy.

    Hi Karl

Theses are beautiful! Like the mood it gives to theses scenes, particularly the last one.

This Haridwar extension seems to have been a success.

    Please say hi to DV.
