Sorry, folks, I know that I’ve been remiss about getting a blog post up, but frankly we’re shooting so much and having so much fun that I barely have time to download the days images, do a quick edit to get rid of the junk in time get some sleep before we begin again the next day.
As I write this post we are in Bac Ha, having just finished an epic morning shoot at this amazing market. About all I’ll have time to do is slap up some images from last week and perhaps tonight on the train back to Hanoi, I’ll get a moment or two to start on another batch of photos which will ultimately make it up to the blog. For now, enjoy a few images. We’re off for an indigenous village shoot, followed by a boat ride down the river; then back to Lao Cai.
Wish you were here,
Karl

Love the lanterns, great light.
Hey, nice work Karl! Love some of that light, no doubt.
HI Karl, do you see any more Honda Cub’s doing wheelies in Hanoi – fond memories – Andrew
Feeling very nostalgic and jealous..fond memories as Andrew says..I could go back to Vietnam in a second…Catherine
Andrew, I’ll never forget that photo you captured….your timing was incredible….I’ve been looking for that same shot every year but I fear that I’ll never get one as good as yours. Hope you’re doing well. We are off to Siem Reap now.
Karl, as always, I love your work. Your color is consistently stunning. It isn’t overdone and yet it is so naturally vibrant that it always gets my attention and makes me remark to myself how gorgeous color photography can be.
I wish I was, too! 😀
Karl
