The September Amazing Myanmar Photo Tour has just ended and I’m back in Battambang Cambodia for a few days, enjoying the fascinating Phcem Ben celebration, it’s the time when Cambodians pay their respects to deceased relatives. The slow internet connections in Myanmar made it impossible for me to blog, so today from Battambang, I’ll start posting some photos from the trip and then follow up with more later this week, when I return to Siem Reap.
This year’s Myanmar tour was particularly nice due to the veritable lack of tourists, a fantastic group of tour guests and the tail end of the monsoon weather pattern, which provided us with some truly fantastic photo opportunities. I hope you’ll enjoy these 25 images, as well as those I will be posting later in the week.
