The 2013 Southeast Asia Photo Tour is off and running and today our group of 10 enthusiastic photographers had an opportunity to take in some of the iconic sights in Bangkok. In the morning we visited the floating markets of Damnoen Saduak in Ratchaburi Province. Later in the day we visited Bangkok’s Royal Palace and the reclining Buddha at Wat Po. I’ll share with you just 10 images from the day and try to blog again this evening after we return from our visit to Thailand’s ancient capital, Ayuthaya. Cheers, Karl
Love the gold theme woven through this post. I particularly like how well the gold is shown off against more subtle light and darker tones. Makes it look rich, when in different light it might come across as garish.
There is always lots for me to learn here.
Hope things are well on the tour…
Nice….getting me excited for Vietnam….
Karl,
The Albino Burmese Python pix is beautiful! Glad to see that you are getting into
reptile photography. Did you hold it?

Karl,
Happy to see that the old lady from the floating market is still there. It will be fun to follow your blog and relive our 2011 trip. Looking forward to Vietnam.
