Earlier this year, the first annual Jim Cline Photo Tours, South India trip, was attended by eight enthusiastic travel photographers. Each came with their own unique talents and photographic style, yet shared a common goal; to capture the essence of South India.
Southern India sees only a small percentage of western visitors as compared to the more well known areas of India like the forts and palaces of Rajasthan or the every popular Taj Mahal. While the areas on our itinerary are less developed in terms of tourism, the friendliness of the people and the almost complete lack of other visiting photographers made for an amazing and unforgettable adventure.
During this trip, as with all Jim Cline Photo Tours, we enjoyed several image sharing and critique sessions, and at the end or our two weeks together, I asked the group to share a hand full of images so that I could post them to this blog.
The following a a selection of my favorite five photographs from each participant. Enjoy.
First, some images from tour participant, Andrew Eio. More of Andrew’s work can be seen on Andrew’s website here and at the Royal Photographic Society website here.
