T he birth place of Mahatma Gandhi, the state of Gujarat in western India, is an off the beaten track area where traditional artisans weave the fabric of century’s old traditions in tribal villages and embroider, dye and print some of India’s finest textiles.
So jealous!
Great set. 😀
Thanks Ursula!
Loved traveling with you and DV! Your images are stunning. I think you should stay with your current equipment (Canon did come out with some mirrorless items, though; haven’t read any reviews). I can still learn so much from looking at what you shoot!!!
Hi Nancy, thanks for the kind words! Yes, I saw the current Canon offerings yesterday…will stay with what I have until a suitable system is available. The speed and ease of using the big DSLRs is unmatched…it’s just the weight and bulk of lugging them around. I look at your rig with a tinge of envy for the size and portability….and you capture wonderful, creative images with them…I am proud of the work you did on this recent trip…you have a wonderful eye!
Beautiful photos and a well written blog. You are always an inspiration!
Thanks Sally 🙂
