We’ve just arrived in the sleepy little village of Pak Beng, Laos, mid-way between Chaing Khong Thailand and Luang Prabang. The last two days began with a sunrise shoot along the Mekong river, just across the street from our hotel, continued with a shoot of the Padong, longneck Karen women, and culminated with a foray into the border town of Tachilek, Myanmar. This morning we crossed the border from Thailand to Laos and boarded our private boat for the 6 hour cruise west towards Luang Prabang, stopping briefly to explore a riverside Hmong hill-tribe village.
Karl, the final image is stunning. Very powerful. Lisa
So fun to see your shots and Lisa’s too! I agree with Lisa – last one is really quite wonderful.
Photos are great reminds us of our trip a few yrs ago to the Hmong hill tribe and Luang Prabang.
