You pay for a specific use of an image or images. License fees are based on exact use, size, placement, and distribution.<\/p>\n
I use industry standard pricing programs to calculate license fees. In order to give a fair and accurate quote for a usage license, I first need the following information:<\/p>\n
\u2022 INTENDED USE: brochure, catalog, billboard, or editorial, etc.<\/p>\n
\u2022 SIZE: relative to the piece, i.e. 1\/4 page, full page, etc., not the actual dimensions of the image.<\/p>\n
\u2022 PLACEMENT: inside, cover (back or front), etc.<\/p>\n
\u2022 PRESS RUN OR CIRCULATION: 5,000 brochures or an ad in a 250,000 press run magazine etc.<\/p>\n
\u2022 DURATION OF THE USE: One-time, use for a year, a month, 10 years…etc.<\/p>\n
