The next stop on the Philippines photo tour was the beautiful island of Bohol. Out of the way, and off the beaten track, the island of Bohol has much to offer, not only in terms of flora and fauna, but also the warm hospitable Boholanos themselves.<\/p>\n

On the evening of our arrival we took our cameras down to the beach and explored and photographed the marine animals that live just below the surface of the water at low tide. Then, during our first full day in Bohol, we rose early and left our beautiful hotel near Alona Beach in Panglao and headed to the Tarsier Research and Development Center to photograph the Tarsier, a strange, tiny, nocturnal primate with unusually large eyes. For lunch we did the typical “Filipino thing” and took a Loboc river cruise and later in the day we traveled to the Chocolate Hills. Here are 14 images from our day.<\/p>\n
