This set of images begins with our spectacular sunrise above the clouds at the world’s highest organic tea Plantation near the town of Munnar. The ride to the top was a solid two hour, bone-jarring jeep ride that began at 4:00am. When we finally arrived at the top, to witness the sun coming up, the group unanimously agreed that it was worth every bruise.<\/p>\n

After sunrise, we spent time learning about and photographing tea harvesting and processing techniques, then headed down the mountain to Madaurai where we spent about an hour and a half photographing the local banana market.<\/p>\n
