I have been providing photos to the Angkor Hospital for Children<\/a> in Siem Reap, Cambodia since 2001, and it is a special place that remains close to my heart.<\/p>\n

The Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC),\u00a0 provides free treatment and high quality care to the children of Cambodia.<\/p>\n

Angkor Hospital for Children is an inspirational place to have the opportunity to photograph.\u00a0 A few years ago the AHC opened their “Friends Center” which includes information about the hospital as well as a gallery which hosts photo exhibits several times per year.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Above is the press release in the Phnom Penh Post.<\/p>\n

Last year they contacted me asking for some images to include in their “Exploring Asia” show. The opening reception of the exhibition Exploring Asia has passed and I was unable to attend, but I stopped in today to see how the show looked.<\/p>\n

The show includes photographs by Alexia Beckerling, Monica Denevan, Richard Erhlich, and myself.\u00a0 The exhibition will be on view at the Friends Center until the end of December. If you are in Siem Reap, or plan to travel there in the next few months, consider stopping at the AHC Friend’s Center to see the exhibit and find out more about the wonderful work AHC is doing here in Cambodia.<\/p>\n

In 2011 Jim Cline and I will be offering the first “Angkor Photo Workshops<\/a>” and we plan to have a visit and cocktail reception at AHC, with proceeds to benefit the hospital.<\/p>\n
