Myanmar was blocking my blog posts while we were there. So, as in may previous post, I am in the process of catching up on each day’s images and a few words to go along. There still seems to be some question as to whether or not, Asia is able to see this blog. So I welcome comments from folks who are in countries from the Philippines and westward. While waiting for the group to gather, I noticed a young man wearing the traditional Burmese Longhi and we all began phototgraphing…<\/p>\n

Lots of interesting options and some really wonderful, soft, directional lighting, made for some nice images.<\/p>\n

Our next stop was a lacquer ware production shop. Again, the photo opportunities were many. Focusing in on the workers hands and even their feet is a way to visually emphasize the delicate and precise work that is necessary to create beautiful lacquer products.<\/p>\n
