We’re in Hanoi now, but leaving for Halong Bay in the morning. It has been an amazing 2 days here. Hanoi is one of my favorite places for street shooting and for panning. By now everyone in the group has tried it, and today with the overcast skies and even lighting, we had great conditions for street photography and panning.<\/p>\n

In addition to roaming the streets and markets of the old quarter of Hanoi, today we also had an opportunity to view Ho Chi Minh’s tomb and even saw a wonderful water puppet show.<\/p>\n

I don’t have much time to write more, so I’ll just leave you with a few shots from the day. Oh, have a look down at the bottom for a shot of our lunch stop, the famous, Pho 24 where we had some truly outstanding traditional Vietnamese beef noodle soup.<\/p>\n
