    At the Produce Market


    Dressed in a cacophony of patterns and colors, the produce vendor pauses for a bite of tortilla. To the trained eye, his traje, or traditional dress, conveys a myriad of information. Indication of his ancestry, community and social stature is woven into the Mayan textiles he wears.
