Freedom from Hunger is a Davis, California based NGO, recognized for fighting hunger with innovative self-help programs. In 1988, they developed the world's first integrated microcredit/health and nutrition education program. Sixteen years later, Freedom From Hunger's "Credit with Education" program serves over 309,000 families in some of the poorest countries on earth.
