In addition to the "Credit with Education" program, Freedom From Hunger initiated a program called "Kids for Kids". With this program, FFH provides elementary school children with baby goats. The children are trained to care for the goat, and when it bears it's first offspring they are required to donate a "kid" back into the program.

The program has become a great success. The goats produce milk and meat for a family, but that's not all. A few years into the program, a side benefit was noticed....since children receive goats only when they have succesfully reached the 6th grade, they stay in school !
