Nowhere else is the disease spreading so quickly as in the brothels of Phom Penh. Some humanitarian organizations work directly with prostitutes in education programs, as well as in treatment of the sick. Often, small teams, consisting of staff members of various NGOs, visit prostitutes who are dying of AIDS, bringing them food and offering simple things like companionship and a comforting massage.
