Villagers who have come from miles around eagerly await evaluation by Dr KC. Heng Pherin Sen, an elderly man who had one cataract fixed by Dr. KC in 2003, returns, excited about the prospect of having his second eye corrected. Due to his loss of sight, Heng had been unable to assist his family in the rice fields. Since his first surgery, things have improved tremendously for Heng. Today, KC evaluates Heng's progress and decides it's time to schedule his visit to Battambang for surgery on his remaining cataract.
