St. Vistal's home
provides protection for the girls and offers up daily hot meals under
its modest tin roof. Girls living in the home are required to take advantage
of nearby schooling, paid for by foreign charities. Half the girls attend
classes in the morning, the others attend afternoon sessions. All are
required to do chores, in order to keep the home clean, organized, and
running smoothly. (click the arrow at right to continue with the story)
